Order to Proceed with the Bejuco-Sora road. |

On December 27th of 2006, the order was delivered to the company Almacenadora Nacional, S.A. to proceed with the rehabilitation of the Bejuco-Sora road.
The Panamanian Public Works Department requested bids for the rehabilitation of the Bejuco-Sora road and the contract was given to a Panamanian company, Almacenadora Nacional, S.A., for the amount of US$ 2,249,887.50.
Meanwhile, Altos del Maria Administration has started the repair program on the Bejuco-Sora road. The road was turned into a obstacle course because of the weather. We appreciate your understanding of this inconvenience.

The lush green forest of the area is product of a rich volcanic soil. Some of the trees found there include a number of tropical species: Espavé, Cedro Espino, Amargo, Copé, Cedro Amargo and Cocobolo, mountain pine trees and oaks, in addition to Guayacan, María, Laurel, Madroño and Lluvia de Oro, some of which signal the arrival of the dry season (January-April).
